Kernelbase.dll issue in Cubase 15 pro

I keep getting these kernelbase.dll issues that force me to rename my project. Close Cubase, restart and then load the rename project back to the old name. A lot of the time I have to restart a few times before the issue does not pop up again. Not the end of the world because once I get passed it everything is intact and ok. Just slows me down and frustrates me. This will happen at least once a day usually more. I am working on Cubase minimum five hours a day. Hoping someone can shed some light how to prevent this. I will attach the crash log file.

In the dump you posted the last thing I see on the stack is ‘impactLX25_SteinbergDAWControl64’ followed by a C++ Out of Range exception. Presumably this is referring to a Nektar keyboard controller.

I do have two Nektar controllers. I’ll turn them off for now and see if that helps. If I don’t get any crashes over a day or two I will turn them on again and if it happens again then I will uninstall and reinstall the Nektar software and drivers and see if that helps.

Thanks!!!

I disconnected the Nektar Impact+ controller and uninstalled all related drivers and support configs and for two days no crashes. I’m going to give it another day or two and cross my fingers if it doesn’t happen again I am going to consider this resolved.

No crashes now for a few days now. For me this is solved
