Is there a way to set a key command for this setting via an edit to the json file, or do I have to make do with manually toggling this for the time being? If the latter, and if it hasn’t already been requested, it would be super helpful to assign a key command to this. I’m frequently inputting music into Dorico then noodling on an external sample library set up in REAPER, and the NotePerformer sounds aren’t too great for improvising on.
There is at present no way of setting a key command for that option, but perhaps you could record a Keyboard Maestro macro or similar that would open the Preferences dialog and toggle this checkbox, then assign that to a shortcut? I will make a note of this request, though.
