Key Command for ‘Open Next Section’ Halts on the ‘Instrument’ Tab but ‘Open Previous Section’ works as it should

  1. Open ‘Edit > KeyCommands’
  2. Search for ‘Open Next Section’ and add a Key Command of your choice
  3. Search for ‘Open Previous Section’ and add a Key Command of your choice
  4. Click on ‘OK’
  5. Create Instrument Track
  6. Try to use a Key Command for ‘Open Next Section’ - it will halt on the ‘Instrument Track’ tab
  7. Try to use a Key Command for the ‘Open Previous Section’ - it will toggle tabs all the way

Opening/toggling Inspector tabs on Instrument Track with Key Command ‘Open Next Section’ halts if doing from up > down.

But if doing from down > up with the ‘Open Previous Section’ Key Command - then it works.

This issue is present in Cubase Pro 12, Cubase Pro 10. 5, Cubase Pro 10, Cubase 10.5 LE AI Elements, and Cubase 9.5.

Is this issue included in some official to-do ‘bug’ list already?

I wouldn’t know about that. I have quite some of these quirks collected in the Key commands wiki, but I haven’t sat down to actually write them down in a bug report.
