my computer keyboard has dedicated buttons (as I’m sure most do these days) for opening my mail program and one for opening my browser.
Fn + F9 opens my mail program
Fn + F10 is SUPPOSED to open my browser. It works anywhere with whatever other program I’m running, BUT it doesn’t work if Dorico is open. In Dorico it goes back one page in my score.
Now the sad thing is, I don’t remember whether I programmed this ability or if it is a default behaviour “out of the box” for Dorico.
I can’t figure out how to know what exactly Dorico does, what Key Command it calls up, when I press that key combination.
Is there a way of knowing? and hopefully reprogramming it? (or rather, UNprogramming it in Dorico)
Go to Preferences → Key Commands → Print Summary.
The page opens to an interactive keyboard map in an offline web browser window.
Press Cmd/Ctrl + F to use the web browser’s Find function to find text on a page and change “Begins with” to Contains” and search for F10.
It could be your own or a system keyboard mapping, I for one couldn’t find a native keyboard mapping for F10.
Dorico 6.1.10 Pro, Finnish/Swedish keyboard, using Dorico in English, MacBook Pro M1 Max, OS 26.3 Tahoe.

I’ve tried that, and it shows nothing except the F10 key on the image of the keyboard.
Could it be one of these?

at first I thought this might be the culprit, but neither of the “move view to previous…” commands has any sort of definition. they’re both blank.
I just find it odd that I can use Fn+F10 in any other program to open my browser, but not in Dorico.
It’s an odd glitch, maybe I’ll just have to accept that my keyboard sends a strange message?
Well, sorry to hear that it wasn’t the answer. Hopefully someone would have the solution.

Have you added it as a Mac system shortcut and that would conflict with Dorico keyboard language mapping? In my computer Fn+F10 doesn’t do anything.

I’m on a Win 10 PC.
Well, meanwhile I guess I can live with pressing a button on my Stream Deck.
It’s not the end of the world. I was just really perplexed that I couldn’t get this to work within Dorico.
