Key command to switch takes/lanes?

Hi all,

is there a key command to switch the active take/lane when comping?

I used to use another DAW that had a key command to cycle through the takes. Made it really easy to cut up the vocal into sections, set a loop and then audition each take by cycling through them with the keyboard shortcut. You could close your eyes and cycle through without looking at the screen.

Having to use the mouse comp tool in Cubase is kind of annoying. I feel like instead of focusing solely on listening, I’m having to concentrate on clicking the next take. There’s been more than a few occasions when I’ve accidentally clicked the wrong clip and changed the selection to the left or right of the snippet I’m auditioning at the moment.

Thanks,
Rich

Also wondering this - any way to do it?

It looks like you can by just shoving the front take to the back. I created a shortcut (shift-cmd-B, which is how you reposition an object in powerpoint). It works nicely, though it would be nice to be able to cycle to specific takes (e.g., by pressing control-1 for the first take, control-2 for the second, etc).
