Can’t get the insert length command in the tool menu to react to Key Commands in the Drum Editor.
It works in the Key Editor.
Use any open project you have
Create two MIDI Tracks
Assign a Drum Map to one of them (a plain GM drum map is good enough)
Create one MIDI Part on each Track
Open the Key Commands Editor
Go to “Set Iinsert Lengths”
Assign at least two of these values to something you don’t normally use like maybe CTRL+ALT+Shift+1 and CTRL+ALT+Shift+2
Close the Key Commands Editor
Doubleclick the MIDI Part on the Track with no Drum Map
Hit CTRL+ALT+Shift+1 then CTRL+ALT+Shift+2 and keep alternating.
result: The Insert Length value changes.
Doubleclick the MIDI Part on the Track with a Drum Map
Hit CTRL+ALT+Shift+1 then CTRL+ALT+Shift+2 and keep alternating.
result: The Insert Length value does not change.
The other changes to the Key and Drum Editors looked pretty small but were AMAZING!
It would be a shame if this little thing would stop us from going hypersonic and only let us go supersonic …
And the code must already be there if it works in one editor?

Just checked and Insert Length Key Commands work in the Key, Score and List Editor but not in the Drum Editor so …
