I must have some setting wrong. Just switched to Cubase 15.
In the key editor during playback, the active note is colored black as the cursor head plays over it.
What setting is this under to change it so that the active note doesn’t appear black?
This didn’t happen in my Cubase 14 setup, but it’s happening in 15
Thanks in advace.
Hi,
Try to disable this: Edit > Select > Events under Cursor

Thanks, Martin. Unfortunately that didn’t do it.
I don’t remember this behavior from before in 14.
Hi,
Would you mind sharing a screenshot, please?

Here’s a screenshot of the strings section - five instruments selected in the project winodow and doubled clicked to open the key editor.
As the play cursor travels over them, they all turn black.
Shouldn’t only the Violins 01 turn black as that is the track selected?

Hi, Martin
In Cubase 15, there is indeed an equivalent to the preferences option that I mentioned in my previous post, but it is Edit > Auto Select Events under Cursor , not the one you mentioned, sorry…

Thank you both very much!
Cubic, that was, indeed, the solution. I must have inadvertently checked that option at some point.
Glad to have that solved
