key editor enters step input on opening, doesn’t allow toggling auto-scrolling

can’t find a way to switch this behaviour off

I just found the fix. The Step Input button has a suspended state (appears white/inactive but not fully off). You need to click it one more time while the Key Editor is open in the lower zone (not in a separate window) to fully disable it. Once I did that, it stopped auto-enabling every time I go to separate window for editing.

I just came here for the same issue. Unfortunately that fix does only work occasionally. The enabled step input comes back here pretty quick.
