Hello! I’ve been experimenting with note input using just a laptop and the key editor and have run into some issues.
• I’m able to hear the pitches on the keyboard on screen and the drum pads I click on during playback, but when I go to record they’re silent. I have an easier time relying on retrospective record to bring the performance into the staff.
• when switching between play and write modes, the drum pad display gets rearranged and overlaps awkwardly, and the panel must be resized to return it to neutral. other right-click UI elements sometimes remain stuck on screen… must quit/reopen Dorico to remove.
• tuplets do not remain active when manually drawing midi notes in the key editor, switch back to non-tuplet durations immediately after using the key editor.
Am running Dorico 5.1.81.2225 on Mac OS 15.3.2
Is this expected behavior?
