Currently if you are editing multiple MIDI parts at the same time, it seems like you have to switch to the select tool to ‘select’ events on a new part.
IOW: If I have the Mute tool activated and I then want to mute a note on another part, I have to hit ‘1’ (to switch to the Select tool) and then re-select the ‘Mute’ tool and -then- mute the note. And then if I want to go to another note on another part I have to go through the entire process again.
This is a real PITA.
I would like to be able to use the Mute and other tools across multiple parts WITHOUT having to switch to the select tool when a note is on another part.
