In the Key Editor, when a user drags and drops notes that exceeds the part’s boundary we receive the following notification:
- “Event’s position exceeds part’s boundary. Do you want to enlarge the part?”
However if a user resizes the note lengths to extend past the part’s boundary, we do not receive this notification. I think when a user purposefully extends the note lengths outside of the part’s boundary that they are intentionally wanting to enlarge the part.
Therefor the user should also receive this enlarge part notification dialog box when resizing note lengths that exceed the part’s boundary.
