When I’m editing notes in the Key Editor, I get odd cursor jumping/misalignment when resizing notes, but only to the right. This happens in every project. Example:
Is this a known bug, or is this a special case?

The issue, I think, is that Dorico is enforcing a minimum length for the note, but of course if it does this, it becomes detached from the pointer. What Key Editor grid resolution do you have set, and what duration is the note?
Thanks for the quick reply, @dspreadbury. The above example is a 16th note on a 16th note grid.
Here’s an 8th note grid with a note that’s originally offset by a 32nd note. Snaps exactly like you’d expect when coming from the left, but not on the right:
Love using the Key Editor, especially for percussion, and it just so happens the parts I’ve been making lately have me encountering this unexpected behavior all the time.
Thanks.
Yes, the behaviour where the note is extended or shortened by the grid resolution rather than snapping to the next nearest grid position drives me a bit potty as well. That is certainly on our list to be addressed in future.
