Using Cubase 11 pro
If i open a MIDI track to edit something, the keyboard on the left doesn’t work.
Any ideas please.

What exactly do you mean by “doesn’t work”, please? What are you doing and what is your expectation?

Normaly if i hit the piano keys with the cursor i can hear the MIDI notes.

Hi,

Can you see incoming MIDI data to the virtual instrument? Can you see the meters on the track (out signal)?

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

Hi Martin,
I’ve tried the cubase safe start mode and it doesn’t work.
No there’s no MIDI data at all… No activity of any kind

Can you hear the preview of MediaBay?

All previews are routed over the same bus. If Control Room is enabled, all previews are routed over Monitor 1 bus. If Control Room is disabled, all previews are routed over the “Main Mix” bus, which you can define in the Audio Connections > Outputs (right click the bus, you want to use as Main Mix and enable it).

I’ve just re-installed 10.5 and it runs fine with the same settings same project etc.
