You could also change the Music Font. If other fonts look ok, then it could be a font issue.

May be a problem about the type of font chosen.
Finale has two Maetro Fonts : a SMuFL one : Finale Maestro, and a non-SMuFL (for more ancient files) entitled only “Maestro”.
