Key for precise parameter, fader or automation movement

often it’s needed to move certain parameter ( volume, pan or parameters on automation lanes ) with very precise amount.

What key needs to be held to switch to precise increments / decrements ?

Hi,

In this case, the best way is to use the Info line. Then you can press the Shift modifier while scrolling, to get higher precision. Or, you can just type the exact value.

for many parameters like control room and cue mixes , there is no values in info lane

Shiftis the modifier for any parameter.

Control Room parameters are not automatable.

so without info lane it’s impossible to move any parameters, dials, knobs or faders in precise increments ?

Many of Steinbergs knobs and faders support the Shift key also when using the mouse. 3rd party plugins often do not.
