Timpani shouldn’t have a key signature, but one appears automatically when I add it to the score. How can I fix this?
When you add a timpani player, you can choose the one with no key signature.
If you already have one with a key signature in your score, then expand the timpani player card in Setup mode, click on the three-dot menu next to the instrument, and choose Edit Instrument Definition. Then scroll down to Transposition, and untick “Uses key signature”.
