Keyboard chord fingerings upside down

Hello, this is my first post! I’m writing for piano duet and setup the score as four staves with two braces, rather than two keyboards. I did that so that I could get Dorico to beam together an arpeggio across all four staves. As two keyboards, the beaming would not connect. Now the problem is with chord fingerings and that Dorico thinks the upper staff of the secondo part is for the left hand and shows the chord fingerings upside down. The other staves show the fingers correctly. Is there a way to tell Dorico that a particular staff is for a particular hand? I see in the properties panel that the fingerings can be changed to above the staff, but they remain upside down.

Thanks,
Kevin

Welcome to the Dorico forum.

I’m not sure of the exact syntax, but if you put a letter r or l in front of the fingering (for example r1,2 in the popover) it will affect the order of the finger numbering. Making a change might depend on whether it is already left or right, so you will probably need to experiment a bit. If you need to flip the position of the fingering from above to below the staff, or vice versa, do that in Engrave mode because in Write mode selecting the fingering selects the notes as well (fingering is treated as a property of a note).
