I use Cmd-Alt-arrow left/right to move through tabs in the window zones but for some reason this doesn’t work in plug-in-windows like the channel settings or Midi Remote Editor. Is there a separate shortcut key for that or am I missing something?

No, it’s just that they’re not hooked up yet probably. A pity for the Channel Settings window in particular.
