Keyboard shortcut for opening the transposition dialogue

Is there a keyboard shortcut for opening the transposition dialogue? I would like to create my own keyboard shortcut, as I need to use the transposition dialogue frequently. How do I do this?

There is not a factory shortcut for this dialog, but you can assign one in Preferences > Key Commands.

Have you explored the note tools popover (shift-I)?

Select a passage and use (eg) shift-I t M6 to transpose up a major 6th.

…and for transposing down place a minus before the interval, such as “t -M6”?

I had already tried this method before, but couldn’t find the right way to start. Switching from German to English made it work.
