Keyboard shortcut on mouseover?

Hello dear Dorico developers,
hello dear people,

Question:
Is it possible to set Dorico (5) to display which keyboard shortcut exists for the corresponding function (if there is one) when you mouse over the corresponding dialogue box?
That would really help my memory
If yes: how?
If not, please implement it urgently in the next possible version….
Thank you!

Hello @Hartmut – many functions already do show tooltips containing the corresponding key command.

For the popovers, you can also access these via the Write menu, where the corresponding key command is displayed alongside their menu entry.

Is there anything in particular that you’re using (or are likely to use) a lot and are struggling to remember? Dorico’s key commands are generally quite logical and consistent.

(There are also some additional resources, like this key commands card.)

If you do Help>Key Commands you will get an interactive map of your keyboard.

Dear Lillie, many thanks for the tip, the key commands card also slipped my mind again, I printed it out straight away
As you say: difficult to remember… It’s very helpful if the barrier is very low - just when you move the mouse over the corresponding button… it’s just right when you’re getting old
