Kill effects before exporting audio

I’m very surprised that such a major annoyance still exists in V10.

If you play a track and stop it but there’s some long delay still going on and on… if you try to export the song, the echoes from when you stopped the song will still be playing at the beginning of the exported mix.

Why doesn’t Cubase kill off/reset all the plugins before exporting?

The only solution to this is wait… half a minute (depending on how long your delay is) for echoes to die off, or go into your project, find the track, and reset the plugin manually. Which is as intelligent and elegant solution as entering your house through a chimney.

STEINBERG PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Yep. Also happening to me when I simply wanna listen to my quiet intro, only to be hit with all the delays from the end of my track. sigh
Looking everywhere for a solution but only finding unanswered threads from years ago, like this one. :frowning:

Nothing to fix. Print your effects and/or vsti as audio as you think them up. Instant stop when transport stops. You can change settings and reprint any ol’ time.

I always opinionate to guys who say “takes too much time” etc with the response of “well your song’s not all that good yet anyway”
