Komplete Kontrol 1.9.1 crashes Cubase Pro 9.0.3

I don’t see any reports on the forum about this. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, do you know wether this is on NI’s end or Steinberg’s? It doesn’t crash any other DAW I use (Bitwig, Logic and Studio One 3) Komplete Kontrol is the latest (version 1.9.1)

I’m referring specifically to “Komplete Kontrol.vst” vst plugin. version 1.9.1 (latest as of today) on OSX 10.13.1 (High Sierra)

Also, if anyone can report wether its working in 9.5, that would be useful information.

This is hard to believe that no one else is experiencing this issue. Pretty clear that if I put Komplete Kontrol.vst in my VST folder, Cubase crashes during loading. If its not there, it doesn’t.
