I’m experimenting with hosting VSTs in Kontakt directly within Dorico, rather than using NPPE, and I’ve noticed that the output (for example, from CinePiano) is very quiet, even after adjusting values in the Track Inspector and (Dorico’s) Mixer. The mic settings in CinePiano are all turned up fully. Could someone point me in the right direction?
what’s the decibel setting in Kontakt (to #CC7)? Try going into the Properties for the track and increase the value there as shown in the screenshot. In Kontakt, you can simply increase the Master Volume as well Quite often I also find the default is Kontakt is rather low.
