I seem to have a problem with the audio playback. I’ve had Dorico from Day one and in the beginning I was able to use Kontakt with the program. I haven’t used Dorico now for a few months giving it a chance to get some updates. Today I opened it again to start to use it and it said that Kontakt is not available. I followed the directions given concerning the white sheet and found the Kontakt number on the white sheet. However it still is not available for some reason. The only instruments available are the Steinberg ones. Do you have any advice for me? I really need Kontakt for the work that I am doing. I really want to use Dorico but this really is making it difficult.

Can you please zip up the folder

Mac: /Users//Library/Preferences/VSTAudioEngine
and send to u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de
Also make sure Kontakt resides in a folder that Dorico scans

Where would I find a folder that Dorico scans? I didn’t know there was one. It’s never asked to give a folder to scan, at least I don’t remember anything like that.
Just a quick follow up. I got Timothy up and running again. His Kontakt somehow got blacklisted, but solved now.
