I was thinking of trying to use Kontakt and wonder how many people use it successfully.
Does it use a lot of CPU ? is it Cubase friendly ? etc.
Any help would be appreciated
Kontakt (the latest 8, but also 7) are a cornerstone of my orchestral work in Nuendo. Several instances, some with several patches some with fewer, according to orchestral families and convenience. I tried using VE Pro to host those instances, but too many crashes, and the routing is next to mind-boggling, so gave that up. Yes, Cubase will behave nicely with Kontakt. Of course some systems may encounter problems, but they should be solvable as this is a happy marriage.
