Hi,
I have fairly recently switched to Cubase and is generally very happy about it (I’m in Cubase 15 Pro).
However, I’m experiencing a weird problem when comping tracks and try to move a cut I have made with the Comp Tool (alt-click on the lane with the Comp Tool on PC): Most lanes look fine but some become blank in the space I have just moved the cut. Check out the screenshots of before and after the move.
I have checked and it’s not just a visual glitch, the lane doesn’t have any sound in it either.
Like mentioned, I’m fairly new to Cubase so I might be doing something wrong but as you can see most of the tracks behave as I expect. Any clues?

The 2nd screenshot shows Audio Parts, not Audio Events. The Audio Part is a container for Audio Events.
Okay. Thanks for the reply. Not 100% sure what the difference is.
My approach is that I open the lane view (to show all takes), pick the Comp Tool and alt-click a lane (a cut appears across all lanes - first image), I then drag the cut to the place I want to change lane. Second image shows what happens after I drag the cut.
The cut moves on all three lanes but in the top lane the audio disappears whereas it remains in the other two (which I would be my expected behavior.
Am I missing something?
By accident you must have placed the audio on Lane 2 into a Part. Use the tool “Select Object” to select all the audio on Lane 2. Then go to the menu Audio → Dissolve Parts.
