New issue for me with Cubase 10. Using Cubase for 20 years. Cubase 10 for nearly 5. PC
When I mute an audio track during playback, the mute automation lane automatically appears. This has never happened to me before. Typically if I want to see automation I right click and select it. This is happening automatically, which alters my view in real time and is unworkable. Have I accidentally hit a global setting to enable this? thx
That’s exactly how it would behave with write automation enabled for the track.
Is it turned on??
It is. And I’ve been working the same way for 2o years and never does that lane just pop-up when muting. When that happens all tracks shift, making it nearly impossible to orient myself to the location of all the tracks below as they just moved. Any idea how to prevent the auto-appearance? thx for the reply.
Can’t vouch for C10, but in In C14 the preference to change this is in automation panel/settings tab/reveal parameter on write.
Grim, same in C10. You solved my issue and I am very grateful. So many options that can cause a lot of wasted time or save time, depending on how well we learn the system. You bailed me out this time. Much appreciated.
