Opcode Studio Vision had a key command for getting one back to thier last position, e.g., if you’re editing midi at bar 4 then accidentally click out of the window or to another location, this command would bring you back to bar 4. A real time saver.
I may have missed it. I scanned all C7.5 key command and didn’t find it.
Anyone have a solution?
Hi,
- Select the Keycommands Window
- Find the command “Locate Selection”
- Assign a keyboard shortcut to this command.
How it works:
-
When in Project Window, hitting your custom keycommand sets the Play Cursor to the beginning of whatever is selected.(for example a midi event).
-
When in an Editor (like the key Editor for example), your custom keycommand sets the Play Cursor to the beginning of whatever is currently selected (for example a midi note).
IMHO: an amazingly helpful command which i use alot.
Hope this helps, please lemme know !
Robbie
Thanks Robbie.
Yes, that’s “L” which is very useful. I’m convinced this is as close as I’m going to get. And that’s just fine.
