Latency won't change

Hi,

I’ve been trying to figure out an issue with the latency in cubase. It’s like it’s stuck at 40 ms for both input and output latency. Changing the buffer size does nothing. It’s 40 ms latency at 10 ms buffer and at 100 ms buffer. I know I probably can’t get it below 10, because I’m usually 11 to 15 in other programs, but I can’t even make the latency worse. I keep changing different settings and then restarting but nothing does anything. It’s 40 no matter what I do. Any ideas?

The latency is given by the Audio Device. What Audio Device do you use, please?

There are some poor Audio Device drivers, where you have to restart Cubase to provide the new value.
