As a film composer-- I often get film cuts from editors several times a day. I then have to go outside of Cubase to sync up and layback my latest work to the Quicktime movie so I can deliver it back to the director for review. This probably adds an hour of time to my work day. Why doesn’t Cubase provide that feature for audio layback – similar to Logic Pro?
Cubase has been struggling with this part of the program. A basic layback as you describe should be available in Cubase.
