Layout bar number settings

Piddly little problem here… Bar numbers don’t seem to care what clef is used at the start of a system in a particular layout. It only calculates the distance from the staff lines. And “Minimum distance from other items” does not apparently include clefs.

I see this topic referred to 8 years ago! Must still be in the backlog.

Hi @D.Galbraith, there are also specific option in Engrave Options>Bar Numbers for spacing of bar numbers and different clefs.

Not at my computer at the moment and cannot give an example, but try to change those options.
