Hello,
when I have an instrument added “Tubular Bells”, both the instrument name as well as the Layout name are displayed incorrectly, see below. (Dorico 6, German)
The player name in the left zone is not necessarily relevant for the displayed player name in the part. Double click the corresponding layout in the right zone and edit the name there.

What font do you have under Library->Paragraph styles->Layout name? Should be a regular text font.

This is a bug apparently. I encountered it a few times. Dorico replaces the literal Be – which is treated as German B flat – with the @{flat}@ text token
