When I use Channel & Track Visibility: Show All Channels/Tracks, I want Cubase to stay focused on the track I have selected instead me having to re-find where I was among hundreds of tracks. Is there a way I can make a Logic Editor preset for this? It looks like Steinberg removed some key commands that would have made this easy in recent versions, for some unknown reason (who is in charge of these things??).
Once you have updated the visibility to “all”, you can click the “Find tracks” icon. You will notice that in the dropdown list, your selected track is highlighted, so you can hit “enter” and it will take you there.
Thanks, yes. But I want a key command that does it instantaneously. This way requires a separate key click and window. Extra steps to do basic things like this get in the way when scoring day-in-and-out. Hopefully I’m wrong and there’s a way to do it!
Hallelujah! I figured it out with the help of ChatGPT (took a while, hahaha). Here are the screen shots if anyone wants to do it. Used to be easier before Steinberg frustratingly took out some key commands, but whatev, this one works a charm.
