Im simply trying to use 14bit encoders on Minilab Mkii
I have made a test encoder with 14bit coarse
and a shifted version with fine
I add a know to remote surface editor, and when it learns the encoder is goes a wild, adding extra knobs etc
I looked through the manual…
I simply want to take the above encoder and have it map but
What am I doing wrong?

You can just turn the encoder to learn the MIDI CC, can’t you?

No. this is not working as it does for a relative encoder
I create a knob
turn the encoder and it creates 2 objects
firstly
using the encoder is minilab pic 1
RPN 0,LSB, 127 MSB
1:128 step
This is of course just plain out of the box use with arturia./midi control centre
Ok I got it going with help from Steve/Bome and output which seems to learn ok…but it doesnt work with Arturia and Im not spending any more time on it…I need to actually do music.
