Leaving AX4 on 24/7

I’m in Windows 11.

I have the AX4T and when I turn it off and then back on I have to go into device manager and re-install the driver if i don’t want to reboot.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to always keep the thunderbolt driver active or if it’s OK to always have the unit on.

I find the unit gets pretty hot so I can imagine leaving it on isn’t a great idea.
