Ledger Line Scaling?

When cues and cue-size notes on ledger lines coincide with certain rests and notes in other voices, the ledger lines seem to scale inconsistently. Is there a way to prevent this?

That’s a good one – I can reproduce on Win11. Looks like the ledger line thickness doesn’t scale at all in those cases. You can see it even more clearly if you set the custom scale to something like 40%.

When “fiddling around” with the contents of the second bar, I observed the following.

If the rest is changed to another value, or removed completely, the ledger lines on the cue note above will scale as they should.

If the rest is selected and scaled down in increments of 1%, the ledger lines on the cue note reach their proper thickness at about 70-75% and do not become thinner below that.

If the rest is selected and scaled up past 100%, the cue ledger lines keep on scaling up as the size of the rest increases. The same behaviour is displayed in bar 4 if the G (on the fourth beat) is scaled up.

It seems the ledger line thickness follows anything but 1st voice

There seems to be a complex relationship between the 1st- and 2nd down stem voices.

Something for a future update, I guess.
