Hi folks!
I haven’t seen such request anywhere but it looks so logical that I couldn’t believe nobody raised this topic.
When you open MIDI editor you have a left-side strip with different actions: move X, move Y, length (the most important one, since you can’t change length in the draw mode using the note edges). It seem to be very convenient for right-handed persons, who draw notes with a pencil and quickly switch modes with the left hand. But for a left-handed person like me it basically kills the edit/draw process. I just have to jump from one place to another constantly. This one thing killed this app for me, I bought it and I found myself never using it because it’s pure pain to edit notes like this. The same is applicable to both top strips - the most useful buttons (select, split, draw, erase) are on the left corners, so the edit process looks like constant jumping between 3 areas with the same hand.
It isn’t painful for the arrangement view (tracks, FX, properties), because setting tracks takes longer, so you don’t jump often, but in MIDI view it seems to be a mood killer.
Is it possible to introduce a “left-handed” setting to flip the top bars and move the left bar to the right side? I guess it would dramatically improve the experience fore left-handed people.
