Lengthen measure so chords do not collide with each other

I can’t cant find a way to lengthen bar 12 so the chord symbols don’t collide.

Hi @cccm, you have a fixed casting-off of 10 bars per system. So your system is overfull. Uncheck the casting-off and let Dorico do the spacing space nicely automatically:#

Or alternatively, set a frame break somewhere on that page.

You have fixed casting off to 10 bars per system. This overfills that page (see the red % on the right in Engrave) so everything will be squashed.

Can I ask… Why did you set the casting off in the first place?

this came from a finale xml and casting off took care of alot of spacing issues. I didn’t think to turn it off to resolve chord issue.

Personally I find Dorico works best with no constraints (like casting off). Just layout option adjustments to note spacing and occasionally vertical spacing.
