Letter Spacing for Font Styles

I would like to determine the letter spacing in Font styles - especially for Dynamic Text Font (prefix and suffix) and Imediately/Gradual Tempo Text Font.
It is possible in Paragraph Styles - why not in Font Styles?
A slightly wider letter spacing (0,50pt) looks very beautiful.
Currently I use shift + X and self defined paragraph styles.
But that is only a workaround - I would prefer to use font styles formatted as I like it.

Thanks for your feedback, Margret. In the future I expect that more of the text-like things that are currently drawn using font styles will migrate to using paragraph styles, which will give greater typographical flexibility than is possible currently.
