Level control automation?

If I want to change the overall level of a track that has volume automation in the mixer, can I do that?

Sure, there are several ways:

  • if you happen to not have any insert or send plugins on that track, you can use the Gain from the Pre-Section

  • if you don’t mind creating a new track, create a Group track, route the track you want to change to that Group and change the level there (either Gain or Fader)

  • change all volume automation by a certain amount: Gain in the mixer - #5 by Johnny_Moneto

You can also add the VCA Fader.
