License issue after updating to Cubase Elements 9.5.50

Hi.

I’m using Cubase Elements 9.5, Windows 10, 64 bit.

Since I’ve updated to Cubase Elements 9.5.50, I can’t use Cubase anymore. Everytime I try to open it, I get a message saying there’s no license for “VST3 Presets for Flux” and when I start to play any file it just crashes.

I’m thinking this could happen because I made a mistake and installed the Cubase Artist file instead of the Elements one. However, after acknowledging my mistake, I installed the right file (and I even got Windows to a previous restore point to “forget” that one), but that didn’t fix the problem. Should I reinstall the whole package? How does one do that?

I really don’t know what to do for this to work and I would aprecciate some help… Thanks!

Hi,

It sounds like this to me.
