At first Cubase for 5 runs (got stuck at some time), I always had to kill it with the task manager, had to, because the programm was not reacting anymore. I had an update of win10 maybe 1 week ago. So now the same crap again, when opening tells me the licenses of padshop and all that stuff, although it was included in my package with cubase pro 12, is not valid anymore or expired, then no choice but to deactivate them if I wanted to continue. OK, I dont care. Then stucks again. Then I open, and when I see it in the lower status text line showing: Checking license, it stopped launching. Started activation manager, loaded forever again. I remembered restarting the computer helped, and it did. (So same issue like few months ago, where the topic was closed).
But common, how can this be!!! I cannot see this DAW as reliable in any matter? I am really afraid of open it at all, it is also loading so long. So many bugs and unnecessary workarounds for the easiest steps, is not really balancing the advantages of it + not even able to receive midi clock and serve as a clock slave. Can you please check and fix this license problem at least, finally!
