Greetings, I’d like to request help with the following: I purchased a UR22C interface and a license for Cubase Element. The Yamaha effects that came with the interface appear installed in the DAW, but I’m getting a license error. What’s the reason for this if I supposedly paid for them and they came included with the product?
What license error do you get and what exact release of the BasicFX software do you have installed?
If the software came with the interface it probably still requires the eLicenser for the included instruments. In that case you need to get the latest software from the download site, that supports Steinberg Licensing
Make sure you read the installation notes and readme pages, so you know how to switch.
Thanks for the purchase! There should be a separate code for the Basic FX Suite that ships with the UR22C. So far, I cannot see any license registered for the Suite, just the Cubase Elements 14 license.
Steinberg sent me a new license, and I also downloaded that new version of the software. I’ve tried several times and searched online for information, but I haven’t been able to resolve the license error I’m getting with FX Tools in the DAW.
Did you activate the software in the Activation Manager?
Hello! My question is whether the license for Yamaha FX plugins covers their use within the DAW. They appear in the Cubase plugin list, but there are licensing issues when trying to use them in an inversion. However, they do work in the external DSP application. I appreciate the response.
Yes of course the license covers use in the DAW.
Hola. Ese proceso de descarga del nuevo software lo he hecho e intentado varias veces y sigue igual el problema. Cómo podría yo hacer para que Steinberg me solucione este inconveniente?
El e licencer dice que el codigo ya ha Sido usado…
English please…also answer the question Juergen posted earlier.
