E-licenser won’t let me run Cubase and Dorico at the same time. The problem seems related to Halion Sonic. If I use e.g. Noteperformer instead of Halion all is well. Cubase and Wavelab runs happily together.

Btw - it’s Dorico PRO and not Elements…

Mads, I’m afraid I’m no expert on this, but this is what our knowledge base has to say about this error:
I suggest you contact support via MySteinberg to check whether they agree that a replacement USB-eLicenser is the correct solution.
Thank’s Daniel. I doubt that this is the problem since Cubase, Dorico and Wavelab runs flawlessly - also with Halion loaded in Cubase. It just can’t handle Halion in 2 apps at the same time. On the other hand the dongle is very old.
I contacted support - let’s see when they answer. Last time I asked something it took 7 weeks to get an answer

Did you already try to start the eLicenser Control Center as well as both applications as administrator?
