License problems

I have very recently bought Cubase artist 7 and installed it ok. It worked fine for a few days then I started having problems with the license. THis seemed to occur after I tried to install a Native intsrument program which also used a dongle. I couldn’t access Cubase and an error message came up saying ‘Synrosoft license error’ . My product was shown as registered in the e liscence center and on My Steinberg. I’ve since tried to download e liscence center again but now my product no longer shows on the e liscence page and I get this message from cubase:

e liscencer control error:
Application ‘LCC2’ has caused the following error:

DCOM connection to program ‘Synsopos.exe’ failed.
Error:Unspecified error
I have e-mailed Steinberg but no response and impossible to get hold of them by phone. Does anyone have any ideas???

Be sure you have the newest version of the eLicense software, if you don’t you can get it here:

http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html.

See if that helps.

Same thing with my AI 6 after fresh reinstall. And yes, I have the last version of the eLicenser, it’s not working…

What Native Instrument program (that uses a dongle) did you try to install??

NI uses no dongle that I know of.
