Licensing problem

I have been using your products—Cubase 13 Pro and VST Live—for several years, and they have always worked flawlessly. Currently, I have these programs installed on two of my computers: one Mac and one Windows.

I’ve been using Cubase Pro since version 10.5 Pro, which I received with a USB license key, and later upgraded to version 13 Pro. Now, I would like to install and use these programs on a third device—my work laptop running Windows 10. Unfortunately, when I attempt to install them, I receive a message from Steinberg indicating that both programs are already in use on other devices, preventing me from launching them on the new laptop.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance and guidance on how to successfully install and activate these programs on a third device.

Hi Vadimas,
according to the first screenshot, the licenses are already activated on three computers, i.e. the maximum number of concurrent activations is reached. Is the laptop where you’re trying to activate them one of these computers? If not, you first need to deactivate the licenses on one of the other machines.

Yes, my laptop is one of them, and it shows in the screenshots. It was there that these licenses were uploaded on November 2

Ok, is the license also shown as activated in the Activation Manager on your laptop?

There is no limit of installations. There is a limit of activations.

Sign in to your MySteinberg account and double-check, how many seats have you used already.

The activation manager doesn’t even start on this computer.

Why it doesn’t start? What changed from the last time it worked? Do you get any message, if you try to start it?

Nothing has changed. I just want to use the program on a third computer. Everything works in the first two.
