im trying too use the line tool but its not working..in cubase 14 its ok but in 15 im trying too use it too draw in some automation and its not writing.
im using win11 and c15 is the newest version anyone else having this issue?

My understanding is, you are using it in the Key Editor > Controller Lane. Is it set to Step or Ramp?
hi no im trying to use it in the automation lane not key editor..in key editor page its working fine but im trying too use the line tool too clean up some automation written and the line tool isnt working .

im opening the automation lane and the line tool is doing nothing if i change too the pencil thats fine but im looking for a smooth automation and usually use the line tool for those
Odd, mines fine. Windows 11. Not accidently locked track? but you say pencil is fine…. sorry friend, no idea.

It works as intended here, but have you read the manual: “Line tool mode” at p.1171 ?
Got it working now..i reinstalled c15 and now its working again..weird issue never had it before.
