Link to Grid vs event snapping and FX Sends questions

Hello,

I have two questions regarding the latest version of Nuendo:

  1. Link to Grid vs event snapping
    Link to Grid works correctly, but I cannot find how to enable snapping to other events.
    Previously this seemed to be available by default. Has this behavior changed or is there a setting I’m missing?

  2. Automatic FX sends on newly created tracks
    When creating new tracks, sends to existing FX channels are automatically added, but they are inactive (not enabled).

This is quite confusing, because these inactive sends still affect routing logic.
For example, when trying to route a track (e.g., bass) to a group or bus, some expected routing options may not appear. It’s not obvious that this is caused by automatically created (but inactive) sends.

This behavior can easily lead to confusion in larger sessions.

Is this intended behavior or a bug?
And is there a way to disable automatic creation of sends for new tracks?
