Linked plugins are not affected by modulators

Insert plugins which change state by modulators don’t propagate those changes to other linked channels (where Inserts are linked).

Is it an intended behavior or Modulators feature flaw?

Hi,

If I understand your use case… You have two tracks (A and B). On both of them, you have a Compressor plug-in (or any other plug-in) in the Insert Slot 1. Channels A and B are linked, including the plug-ins. You let modulate any Compressor parameter on Channel A. Your expectation is that even the Compressor parameter on Channel B is modulated the very same way.

Yes, but it’s important to note that this is also true for multi-output instruments - when two or more tracks are within 1 instrument.

This is an interesting idea. I never thought about linking channels to get a modulator to affect more than its own channel.
