After many many years of mixing using the standard Cubase 5 mixers ive just acquired an old Yamaha pro mix 01 which i would like to link up and see if it can add anything beneficial . I used to be fairly familiar with midi but after a little play around im stumped . Ive gone into midi device manager and installed Yamaha pro 01v , and played about with other things , but nothing is working . Would be great to know the basics to get me away as im pretty rusty . The mixer works tickety boo , and i was using usb midi leads , which i just don’t like . but ive ordered proper 5 pin din ones . Id be very thankful for any help on this , Cheers !! .
